Autumn Winter Catalogue 2005
Art Books International
Welcome to the autumn 2005 catalogue from Art Books International
The enclosed list of exciting new books contain the key leading titles from July to December from the current list of publishers we distribute into book trade markets around the world. The range of art titles is both eclectic and broad based and will appeal to gallery owners, professionals and students alike, as well as the high street consumer.
Some of the highlights to point out are the titles: Lucien Freud text by William Feaver that accompanies the exhibition currently showing in Venice; Gregory Crewdson, whose photography has been described as “unforgettable” by the Times, and “luscious” by the Telegraph; the work of Dorothy Cross and in particular the Ghostship that haunted Dublin Bay for a time in 1998.
Look out too for Hiroshi Sugimoto, who has been described as “ one of the oddest artists at work today, and one of the best” The Guardian; as well as Janne Lehtinen in Sacred Bird, whose allegorical work with wings and flight set free our imagination from the drudgery of earthbound existence.
